Casa Jade Signature Villa & Residence is strategically located in Georgetown and it offers elegant and peaceful accommodation surrounded by lush green gardens. It is my pleasure to share with you the pros and cons of what this accommodation can offer you.
Pros
- Casa Jade Signature Villa & Residence is conveniently located with plenty of shopping and food options nearby
- It will just take you 15 to 20 minutes’ walk to Gurney Drive’s hawkers centre but I do not recommend the food over there as it is mainly targeted at tourists and pricey
- Located 1.2 kilometres away from Gurney Plaza shopping centre and Gurney Drive, Penang’s famous seafront promenade
- Penang International Airport is 16 kilometres away from Casa Jade Signature Villa & Residence
- Komtar, Penang’s iconic building is located 2.3 kilometres away from Casa Jade Signature Villa & Residence while Prangin Mall shopping centre is located 2.3 kilometres away
- The service staffs are well mannered, nice, polite, friendly, helpful and accommodating
- One guest even requested for a BBQ and the staffs set it up for that guest
- There is a luggage storage facility, Wi-Fi internet access in public areas and complimentary car park spot for guests
- Guests may also rent a car or a bicycle to explore the area and/or visit nearby places of interest
- Laundry, ironing services and groceries deliveries to your accommodation are also available to guests
- The staffs can also arrange airport transfers and shuttle service but they come with additional charges
- You can play darts at the games room
- Casa Jade Signature Villa & Residence is a pet-friendly accommodation and your pet will have a big space to happily run around
- Each villa is fitted with soundproofed walls, air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi internet access, mosquito netting, a safety box, clothes rack and a flat-screen TV with several cable channels
- Some villas provide LCD or Plasma TVs, non-smoking rooms and morning call service to wake you up
- The villa is a double storey terrace and you can fit more than 10 people under one roof comfortably hence it is suitable for big families or a huge group of friends
- The villas are tastefully decorated with Balinese ambience and clean
- The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the master bedroom is very spacious
- All rooms come with Wi-Fi internet access
- Common places like the dining area, living room and kitchen are also spacious
Cons
- The location is a little bit hidden so make sure you have the full address before taking the bus or taxi
- As they do not have a reception, you will have to check-in with the manager before your arrival
- Pictures of the accommodation and rooms found on the internet may not fully represent the actual accommodation
- Guests will have to share everything except for the rooms
- No swimming pool
- Guest have to use either a shared bathroom or a private room with attached bathroom
- Too many mosquitoes
- Some rooms are noisy due to condensers from the air conditioner and fan
- Some guests complained that the air-conditioner is not cooling enough
- The cable channels are limited
- Certain villa units are dusty
- A few things like broken door knob, broken bathroom tray and cracked sofa needs repairing
- If you like to sleep in late, be warned that there is a mosque nearby that will wake you up early in the morning
- Simple toiletries like toothbrush and mug are not provided
